
With Magdalena on the Board, Reedley College moved from pandemic recovery to strong, sustained growth. Enrollment increased from 11,067 students in 2021-2022 to 17,495 in 2024-2025.

Enrollment grew without lowering standards. Course success increased from 76% to 80%, while retention remained between 93% and 94%. In 2024, students earned 3,221 degrees and certificates.
During Magdalena’s current term, the number of students receiving financial aid increased from 3,722 to 6,802. Reedley College awarded more than $51 million in financial aid in 2024-2025 alone.

Under Magdalena’s watch, Reedley College dramatically expanded support for food, clothing, housing and other basic needs. Funding grew from $152,458 to $937,353 in just two years.

Magdalena helped oversee $67 million in major campus investments, including new facilities for math and science, early childhood education, and the fine and performing arts. Reedley College also opened a local flight-training location and upgraded spaces across campus.

Magdalena has supported workforce programs that connect education directly to good jobs. All 16 graduates of AgTEC’s first class were employed, while enrollment grew from 65 to more than 120 students in one year.
